About this episode
Paula was stalked by an ex-boyfriend from high school. When Paula broke up with him, his behavior became disturbing, and he attempted suicide to try to get her back. She gave in but only stayed long enough to help him survive the suicide attempt. When she left him again, he followed her to a hotel room she was at with friends and threatened them with a gun. Paula was again afraid for her life when she was riding in his car, and he started driving erratically, threatening to kill them both. Things got worse when Paula's stalker was caught hiding in the bushes outside her house, jumping out to punch her in the face and force his way into her home. Paula went to the authorities, but they told her she would need to prove he physically harmed her for them to take action.
