エドヴァルド・ムンク（Edvard Munch (ノルウェー語: 1863年12月12日 – 1944年1月23日）は、19世紀-20世紀のノルウェー出身の画家。『叫び』の作者。
体を痛めつける病魔と、心を痛めつける狂気は、ノルウェーの国民的画家・ムンクを育てた黒い天使だった。そのことをムンクは自覚していた。｢僕の芸術は自己告白だった」というムンクという船の舵は不安と病魔だったのだ。
