Tim Lukinuk is the co-owner and general manager of Amethyst Mine Panorama, a multi-generation family-run working amethyst mine and popular tourist attraction near Thunder Bay, Ontario. Alongside Lori Lukinuk, he continues the legacy started by his parents, who acquired the site in the early 1980s; Tim has been involved since his teens and brings deep knowledge of the region’s geology and the story of Ontario’s official provincial mineral.
