嗨大家好，我是你们的普通话老师Nana。

今天我在给学生上课的时候，给了他们一个作业。

作业 homework 

这个作业是什么呢？就是让他们准备一个五分钟的演讲。

准备就是prepare 准备

演讲就是presentation 演讲

准备一个演讲 prepare a presentation

不知道听众朋友们，你们有没有做过演讲呢？

你在做演讲之前的心情又是怎么样的呢？

通常在我做演讲之前，我会感到非常紧张。

紧张 nervous

感到紧张 feel nervous

我以前非常不擅长做演讲。

擅长 good at 擅长

我以前很不擅长做演讲，一上台就会结结巴巴的。

结结巴巴的，就是not fluent，结结巴巴的。

现在通过练习 practice 练习，我已经进步了很多。

进步就是make progress 进步。

Hi everyone, I'm your Mandarin teacher Nana.

Today, when having a lesson with my students, I gave them a piece of homework. What is this piece of homework? It's to let them prepare a 5-minute presentation. I wonder, listeners and friends, have you ever done a presentation? What is your mood like before doing your presentation? 

Usually, before I do a presentation, I'd feel very nervous. I used to be very bad at presentations... I used to be very bad at presentation, I'd be not fluent when I got on the stage. Now, through practising, I've made great progress (improved a lot). I wonder if you like doing presentations? Have you improved compared to the past?
