池田勇人総理は「私心をなくして、薄氷を踏む思いでやって、なおかつたりない。そのたりないところは偉大なものにおぎなってもらうよりしかたがない」と語っていた。その偉大なものとは宗教であり、それを体現した宗教家だろう。
