Three time Wisconsin sports writer of the year Jason Wildey. Time now for headlines as we predict what will happen on Sunday as the Packers take on. The Vikings at Lambo Field Packers, Hala, Famer, Mark, Towsher. I'm going to do something crazy. Broadcasting live from the Everlight Solar Studio at ESPN Medicine. I'm going to say kiss and cousins, pack bikes, tie. And celebrating 10 great years on ESPN Wisconsin. He missed it again! And we'll end this crazy game in a time. Oh my goodness. This is Wildey and Towsher, presented by Pella Windows and Doors of Wisconsin. Our two of the bulls of thon.
And we welcome in my fellow academic. Although he's much more accomplished since I haven't taught Jack yet. From the University of Missouri. Better known for his incredible work on whiteouts. He is John Anderson. Good morning. How are you buddy? Good, honestly, what's funny is that all of a sudden, here in the song behind like that is not the Missouri fight song. But what's crazy is 76 trombones is written for the music man Meredith Wilson, which is where I was born, made some city Iowa. So whether Jesse Newton or not, he is right on top of this thing, man. He definitely didn't know. There's no way that he prepped that plan. Double major music. I definitely knew that. You knew that it was from Cedar Rapids. I didn't even know John was from Mason City. Nailed it. Big one Friday night though.
Did you guys know what happened? Missouri Kansas coming up on Friday night. Oh! J-Hawks. Which you won't get John Anderson to say. Hey, if I may just catch up with you briefly, it's been a while. Sure. How you doing? How's the semester going? It's good. We're early in. Haven't lost any of them yet. So that's good. All the bodies have been accounted for. Three weeks in. Everybody stills a little wide eye. They're pretty sure that you know what you're talking about. Which is good. The idea is to hope in week 13. They still look like that. Or at least they're still coming to class. And the fact that they don't have class at four o'clock on a Friday has made a big difference in the attendance. I'm sure you guys were all in. Which is great that you were, you know, your academic progress was really important to you. But man, Friday at four o'clock, even the best of students were like, I think I can still get that a without showing up to that bad boy.
So that's made life much better. John, do you like, do you know what the professor ship? Do you go with the patches on the elbows? That to me is that to me makes you a very professorial. You're like my sister who insists I need some sort of tweed jacket with elbow pipes. I do not have. Some type of pipe. Yeah. Anything. Yeah, I have nothing like that that would show that I am stately and academic like. I am one that came from the private sector. I did not grow up around the Ivy walls and the columns. I was gone for a long time. I am, I am not that guy, although I have a lovely kind of velvet. Tuxedo jacket. It's a bright red that looked like the one that. Lamar Jackson wore when he picked up the Heisman. I just haven't had occasion to use that yet in class. Well, you will someday have that opportunity being the professor that you are.
I do look forward to your help writing up a syllabus and the other things that I may have to do. At UW Green Bay in the near future. But for now, I will settle for your bold take for the boldathon. As I've asked everyone who has preceded you in the rundown, do you remember what your bold prediction was a year ago? Because I'm guessing it didn't turn out to be right. I do not know. I'm not sure I was involved. I believe this may be John's first career boldathon. That he's not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I think it was like when I saw Tucker and Wasau. I'm like, I think that guy got my spot last year too. I don't know who you're pumped, but I got in. I'm like, all right. I see all the other luminaries. I'm in a pretty heavy crowd if I'm in there with Homer and Tucker from Wasau. No offense. Tucker.
No, no, no. No, no, no. You want to act not intended. Yeah. A back. A butcher gross was a butcher grass was not available. So we won with Tucker. I'm sorry. Can he main turned us down? Killborn is up at 1115 though. Love the killer. All right. Well, as the biggest star of the 10 o'clock hour, your bold prediction is what? Oh, can I admit that I'm not a back splashed by the way? Nice back splashed. Thank you. There you go. Perfect. That's a spec house we get what you get. Who are the, can I ask real quick who the, what some of the earlier ones were? Like what Demovsky say? Demovsky had Jordan love setting the franchise record for passing yards. Single season passing record. Brian Boulogga said the Packers win the NFC North and Lucas Van S has five and a half sacks by the time Micah Parsons returns.
Gabe Nightsle said the Packers lead the NFL in points scored in 2026. Alex Strofe said the an offensive lineman not named Zach Bakobowell is named to the pro bowl. And as shine has the Packer starting off on to and finishing with six wins. So those are your so far your hot takes. Okay, so I'm going to yes, so everybody I appreciate everybody's enthusiasm for the season. I will tell you that by the next bolt of thon, Matt LaFlor will not be the head coach of the Packers. Whoa. Explain you think a down year is coming and it's in Plode City? I think unless they arrive at the Super Bowl and I don't know that they are rostered enough to do that. That that will end the time of our coach in Green Bay. I think wow. If the playoffs come that'll be great, but anything less the Zubo will be another one of these painful exits.
And we will have determined that while his service has been productive, he has taken the squad as far as they can go. And they will need a new person with the big headset and the laminated ball. That from a bold perspective is an a I don't know how you I mean that is old as it gets. That's big time, John. That's what professors professors understanding the mission. You accomplished it whether or not it's going to be accurate. Whether or not it's going to be accurate, we shall find out we hope not, but that is bold. You're on deck Tucker. What do you got now, big guy? The God let us the Tuckers get on. Tucker's going to have the team move into Was on is my guess. That's going to be maybe Tucker's. The wood chucks of the Northwoods league have trouble. Here comes here come the path. I just think that his I think we probably all agree that whatever the regular season is, it'll be like, okay, good regular season. Where if it's 12 and five or I don't know when they play in 17 18 games, whatever it is.
You know, if it's a dozen wins, that's great. And everybody's going to go and what's next like I think we are an entire and what happens in January season. And so you got to get there anything less than that is really going to be trouble. And then when he gets there, if he gets there and the Packers get there, which I think they're they're capable doing again that he's going to have to make some deep noise in there or they'll just go why are we keep running this back? Why are we still on all the potential they're young and they're growing when you've had three or four years of that and that you will. I think then we'll see that the new person in charge will decide that he needs his coach to take it on. I don't I don't want to short change Tucker on his time. I do want to ask you because this is my reputation around here. Why why the coach, but not the general manager if you are making changes in your bold prediction?
Because it was a bold prediction. I as I understood it to be a singular thing and I didn't have to clear out the entire thing. Yes, you all know how one. Yep. So the understabination. The deal will see, but if if you feel you have the roster to compete, then that then good he's not the problem. He is supply he is supplied the right raw material and it is not being used correctly. So I don't know that that is necessarily a hand in glove situation. We will see if your prediction comes true. If it does, that means things will have gone not well either during the regular season. I saw Bill Hubert on our little TV show last night on WBAY predicted them to go eight and nine. If that were to occur, I'd be curious how many different people would be in the world. I'm going to guarantee you this. This is not going to be bold.
If willing, with that bold prediction, John Anderson is just earned a seat at the table every year. That we can assure. No doubt. Yeah, but you can't fire the head coach every year. Like what am I going to do? Yeah, you'll find something. I'll figure, what worry about that when the time comes? In fairness, you know how predicting head coach is getting fired goes around here. Typically. He's going to be the coach of the year now. Next year, I will come on and I will predict the demise of Jason Wilde. And I will then take him out as he is. I'll take him out first since Jesse hasn't been able to do it. Three time manager that you're coming up. Three times going to win 100 games. Go figure that. John, congratulations on your debut. You're just so ubiquitous. I thought you've been doing this for years. So we're happy to have you. You've you've locked up your 2027 location. But if you're going to do me in, then we might lose your phone number. I will talk to you on Sunday.
Thanks, buddy. Enjoy, man. Am I doing Sunday? Nobody's bothered to tell me that. I guess I'm just assuming. Get on the horn with these people. I need to hear from somebody. See you guys. Wow. That was a roller coaster. It really was. Do you believe? Under what circumstances does John Anderson turn out to be right? They have to absolutely. It's got to be a train wreck. Yeah. I would tend to agree. We will see what happens. We will get to the aforementioned Tucker in Wasa. But not until Towsha has told us about Tito's vodka. Well, we had a great time with our friends up at the 10 year and with the tailgate. And it doesn't matter what you're doing. Make sure it's Tito's in your glass. We had the Jesse Nelson. My little Towsha drink this week, a little jalapeno. It was very popular. Yes. A lot of jalapeno in there with that Tito's. It was refreshing. It was fantastic.
Just like Tito's. And Tito's, they give back in a big way as well, partnering with nonprofits, doing real good. And the communities across the country. It's distilled and bottled by fifth generation, Inc. and Austin, Texas. Crafted to be savored responsibly. The Bull, the Thorn, rolls on. It's Wilde and Towsha. This is Wilde and Towsha, presented by Pella Windows and Doors of Wisconsin. Called today, 855 Pella WI, and online at PellaWI.com slash radio. Before we get to John Anderson's favorite member of our panel, Tucker and Wasa, a reminder that while the Packers season is kicking off on Sunday, an associated bank has Packers checking

So go to associatedbank.com slash Brewers to find out more. The bold the Thine rolls on. Would we say that Tucker and Wasa as the kids had caught some strays there from John Anderson?
Oh, he caught any strays. He took it straight out. If I was Tucker and I was getting a trash talk from ESPN legend John Anderson, the host of wipeout in its 80, I would consider that a positive. No, I think if I was Tucker, I'd get after John Anderson about wipeout is what I think I would do. Tucker, welcome. Congratulations. I assume you continue to bask in the glow of your tournament of champions trivia title from our 10th anniversary. How you doing? I am doing very well. It is actually my birthday today. So it's a double greatness happening here. I get to give a cake in the bowl of the thine. I it's a beautiful day in Wasa. The only downside is I'd go to the dentist to get two fillings, but other than that, it's all up from there. John Anderson senses heartiest birthday. Congratulations to you. He was like, I'm sure he was during the championship. I can't believe he would do me like that.
The struggle is real. I know. Are you are you generally you obviously boldly took the title. You did not get a question wrong in our trivia tournament of champions. Although I don't know if that's been fact checked, but I wouldn't ask Jesse to do it because we probably wouldn't get it right anyway. Are you a bold opinionated sports fan in general? Not really. I am not a professional takesman as the rest of the panel will be today. I'm usually I'm usually pretty mild. Even when I try to think of like a bold take or you know you want to try to get after people on Twitter or do like posting, I just like be like, this isn't worth it. I tried to phrase it too perfectly and it's just the moment's gone. So. All right. Well with without any further ado, I prepare you sold it well. From a bold Tucker and was saw your bold the thought take is.
Well, I have to so I'm the trivia champion. I have to start with a trivia question because we're not doing trivia presented by cousin sub cousin sub sub above. Or we believe in butter whatever there than butter and better we believe in better. Yeah, good stuff. Here's my here's my trivia question and written in true Jesse fashion as well. All right. Which one of these kickers does not hold the franchise record for field gold made in a season? Is it a Chris Jackie B Ryan Longwell or C Chester Markle? That means two of them are tied for the lead. I'm going to go Jackie. Three are tied for the franchise record, but 33 field goals. One of those that I said does not have 33 field goals in a season. I'm going to say Chris Jackie must say Chester Markle.
I'm going to say Chester Markle. This is why we're unstoppable trivia team because it is Chris Jackie. We really want to see that. But Ryan Longwell, Chester Markle and Mason Crosby hold the franchise record for 33 field goals in a season. But this year, Trace Mac will break the franchise record in field goals made in a season. And in doing so, we'll become the third packer to lead the league in scoring as a rookie alongside the aforementioned Chester Markle and Mason Crosby. Wow. That is some deep dive. Well, he brought a trivia question. Yes. And for someone that there's a lot of question marks around today, I'm giving him an A in that Tucker you didn't A. Anderson Ozu an apology. Yeah, I think the biggest thing I think this is going to be a really good offense, but I think because of, you know, when they get in those short yardage situation, they might not be able to run.
Yeah, they're not going to be able to run the ball. We're going to be a premium with all the questions on defense. I think you're going to see the floor try to kick a few more field goals early on the season. He's on the most field goals attempted under Matt LaFlure was 41 two seasons ago. Otherwise, it's around this 33 29 34 mark. So I mean, that's he's going to be kicking a lot more field goals. And from a points perspective, I think it could get 160 171 led the league last year. 41 field goals made 48 extra points. I think there's a chance that we might be seeing a lot of trace Mac on the field so that the Packers can get cash in on those points when they can. You might not see as much risking it on fourth and down early in the season. Tucker, I have a, and I don't want to put extra work on you. Nope. You are fantastic with bringing stats. I would like for you to provide a stat every week. And then we either examine that stat or say we're not interested. Is that something you'd be open to helping Jesse with?
I, Towsh, I would love nothing more than to do that. I sincerely mean that because I love doing stats. I love analysis that's part of my job in general. So if that's like a somewhat invitation to be a hundred percent an invitation. Yeah, we will keep you updated. Here's the deal vent. You're going to be Tucker from Warsaw and the stat guy or how do you want to be? You're going to be this is going to be called stat of the week. And it'll be for the three of us will then delve into and see if we really want to dig into it. And it could be related to anything packers with whatever team they're playing. That would be intriguing. You're up for that. Okay. I'm up for that. Absolutely. All right. Presented by cousin subs. We believe in butter. Also, I think it's important that you know that this has been something that you are subject to being fired. Yes. That's the role will be under heavy scrutiny. We will be scrutinized and we will say, but you also be commended and thanked.
Yeah. And it is unpaid. It's completely under. Yes. I totally understand. I know how the whim of the will be in house team. You can quit at any time. No, you can't quit. You can't quit. You just get fired. Jerry, I don't tell you. I've been. I've been riding the wave of will be in touch since you guys started even back before when it was green and gold today. So hey, I'm talking to the best. What happened? I'm getting it right. Well, you're hired. We will keep you updated on that, but you are hired. You let Jesse know what day. What day do you want that stat? Probably a Thursday stat of the day is what I'm thinking. So that sounds good. I can have it. All right. So get that to Jesse by Thursday morning at about 8.59 and he'll be fine. It's hired to be fired. It's like a coach just like John Anderson fired him. He'd Tucker could maybe not make it. Tucker, thanks buddy. Good job today. Thank you guys. We appreciate you. Thank you guys so much. I love you guys.
We love you. You really brought it. I was really. He was a really good one. Yeah. Very, very, very good. I love that. Just willing and excited he is to work for us too. With no pay. Happy birthday. Is it his birthday? Yeah. Did you hear him say it's his birthday? I missed that part. I wasn't paying attention to that part of it. I was just intrigued by the trivia and trying to think how can this be when you have three kickers and it turns out that three different kickers made 33 field goals, which is crazy. And just like Tucker is celebrating his birthday, you're celebrating your knee being reborn with the help of MoMA. Well, if you've been putting up with pain in your knee, shoulder back or neck or any joint, you don't have to just sit there and tough it out. I tried that. It was miserable. And after all those years of playing football, I just thought this was how it had to be. Well, you know what? It's not excited up to partner up with MoMA, the Midwest orthopedic and musculoskeletal alliance. And I think a lot of times you're doing this and you just don't want to go through the process.
I don't want to have to go to the big high find a parking spot. Walk in. Don't go nowhere. Am I going? What I love about MoMA, I have different specialty office surgery center, smart scan, Mosh. And where I've been going is ortho laser. Their experience team is focused on helping you feel better, getting you back to living your life, you drive, you park the car right there. I walk in 15, 20 minutes later. I'm back in my car. I'm on my way. The treatment gets a little blood flow going. I've gotten some more range of motion back. I've been able to go about living my life, what I've wanted to do. So you call or walk in today or you can learn more at momaMKE.com. That's m-o-m-a-m-k-e.com. The bold the thon rolls on. It has been really, really good so far. Can another dyne- Dyspo the thon of all time? I think that's not even bold to say. Can, can, can. The next dyne- Can, can, can.
Can. Dynamic duo. As Towshe likes to refer to them. Vinnie and the boys. Vince Vatrono and Eric Bilstad of 620 WTMJ. Pancake too, right? Is Pancake too? That's the boys. If I be hanging around, we'll find out. If Pancake wants in. We'll find out next. It's Wildean Towshe. This is Wildean Towshe, driven by Zimbrick Chevrolet and Sun Prairie on 100.5 ESPN. See their full inventory at Zimbrick Chevrolet.com.
The roll-on of the bold the thon continues. But before that, I need to remind you, maybe you need a bold getaway. Well, you don't have to hop on a plane or board a cruise ship to do it. You can feel like you've escaped by taking your next getaway. In Milwaukee, at Potawatomi Casino Hotel, start with the stay. The biggest hotel rooms in all of Milwaukee. I guarantee you the room that I'm staying in in the Twin Cities, not of Iowa, Scandinavia. On Sunday night will not be as big or as nice as the nearly 500 beautifully designed rooms and luxury suites that they have at Potawatomi Casino Hotel. It's perfect for a weekend reset a date night or celebrating something big. And you're just steps away from all the fun stuff that's happening inside. And if you're hungry, so many options.
Premium stakes at the Dream Dance stay house. Pizza, burritos and quick bites at the marketplace. Rock and brews for a high energy vibe. Canal Street Cafe. Ruyi Asian Kitchen, which is my next stop. Cream City Coffee Company. Food and drink specials happening all the time. And if you're planning a wedding, a birthday or an anniversary, their event spaces are built to make it unforgettable. Sophisticated relaxation, incredible flavor and a full night out all in one place at Potawatomi Casino Hotel. We've had some great bold takes thus far and entering the arena. Do we, is it a trio? It's not a duo Jesse. Is it officially a trio? I know the third is hanging out there. They can call them. Oh no, they sent them away. I'm getting the new unlike on our producer. Can't just it loves to be the center of attention on Wisconsin's morning news.
It's the opposite of that, which I'm sure from a host standpoint is probably refreshing. Let's welcome them in. They are the legendary dynamic duo that I get to talk to whatever touches out. But they never call me otherwise. It is Eric Filstad and Vince Fattrano, the lesser of the two Fattrano brothers. How are you guys doing today? We're honored to be invited. We're just here so we don't get fired. No, we've previewed or talked about the boldathon on Wisconsin's morning news. But have not yet been invited to join the program and actually do it here on Will the Intouch. So Ian, I have taken this very seriously. We've both prepared and we're ready to proceed however you say. Wait a minute. So you guys have taken this very seriously and you've both prepared just the way Touch does to appear on your show. Exactly the same thing.
I don't know why they're laughing so hard. And we talked about this this morning. Eric has learned some lessons because Eric and we've been doing this for a while. Eric and Vinnie have been doing it for three or four years I think. He had the best one that we've ever done. But then he added a second and he ended up losing too much. The year Xavier McKinney was first brought in. Eric, we literally would come in every week. The pancake would have the interception call from Xavier McKinney and he said it was going. It was unbelievable how accurate his bold prediction was that year. It would lead our sports cast. Yes, it was unbelievable. It was coming to fruition in his boldathon prediction. So fellas, it's time. It is. The boys and times. Who wants to go first, Vinnie? You want to go? Eric.
Well, what if he earned the right? No, because he went too deep. I feel like he's, he gets to choose kind of like when we did our trivia and the coin went your direction. Do you want to go first, Eric? Or do you want to go second? It is the choice is yours. I will defer. I'll let Vince go. Smart move. That's what Bella check always did. Vinnie says I want the ball. I'm going to score. I'm going to score. I'm going to score the second. I can't wait. We'll see if it works out. Talk about the bold prediction. All right. So are you prepared to hear my announcement then? Absolutely. Okay, my homie called up drum roll. There we go. My 2026 boldathon prediction. Green Bay Packers running back, Marhshon Lynch goes above 1000 yards rushing on the season. What are your expectations for Marhshon Lloyd? I knew he was going to do that. Sorry. Oh But if Marseille Lynch comes out of retirement and hits a thousand that is gonna be
Hell of a story It would be so bold You know it's great. He's a price picks ambassador to it's great I'm gonna do my prize picture he'd Vinny thanks for sent me up on my prize picks read with that What a team base Now you just got cut up in the moment five years he waits for this moment and then he lays this shot Alright Eric what is Russell Wilson gonna do or What are your expectations for Dan marino? All right, you ready? Yes Going to be I told you today There will be a player on the green Bay Packers who Receives more than one thousand yards this season and also Scores more than ten touchdowns and no it is not met you golden No, it is not Christian Watson. No, it is not Tucker craft. I'm going Jaden Reed the most exciting player on offense
It's gonna have the year of his life Everyone's talking golden This man this year wow Bill's that did it again. We'll see if he's right But there's too many caveats in there. There's a lot of caveats But it's only one thing though right one person right one person is having a thousand yards receiving But only eight touchdowns and then it's incorrect. They didn't learn anything That's what's great about the boys. It makes it bold. It Eric. I think you've Got a shot here. It is bold And he led the Packers in receiving the two years that he was healthy so It's also rooted in reality. I like what you're doing there. I like I like Vinnie's two other than the name thing I think it would be a bold It counts we know what your intent was of course come on It's what it's showing. It will give we'll give him this if Marshall Lynch comes out of retirement and does that for another team
He wins of all time. It's we're setting the ball the phone will be shut down But I think Vinnie's point on Marshawn Lloyd is Very interesting to because I wanted to get back to it I think he is gonna get a lot more work if he can again the caveat of staying healthy He you have a good game. We had Ryan Grant up at our 10 year anniversary You show that you can do it all of a sudden Everybody else gets kind of put to the back burner a little bit those opportunities are gonna continue to grow for Marshawn Lloyd If he goes up to Minnesota and has a big game. I agree. Can I Could I defend my thesis further on the Absolutely Yes, council raised the point Yep, I would suggest obviously if you have a guy who's got the moniker of the guys always injured all right So he's a third year player, but we haven't seen him but for one game and he didn't finish that one fair enough but Sometimes injuries are a pattern sometimes they're just a collection of Unfortunate but perhaps unrelated events among the things that kept him out appendicitis
I don't know how much time you guys spend on anatomy, but you can't get that twice more than we should know that It only ends one of two ways either you die or you get your appendix out He adds appendix out so that's not gonna be a problem I just think right if the cat can stay healthy also as you guys know the You have a run game that can open up the passing game well the passing game can do the same with the packer stretch the field as he has predicted So there you rely on the run and and a thousand yard rushing season isn't what it used to be I mean you only need 60 yards a game which is still a lot but A lot of reasons to support my thesis And we don't know if Josh Jacobs Is going to play a single down for them this season. There's no guarantee that he will I I still think he'll end up playing for them At some point after suspension, but we'll have to wait and see on that and to your point He did go to the Meyer Institute sport in El Segundo Outside Los Angeles spent the I just like saying El Segundo. Let's be honest
But he spent his entire offseason there trying to figure out all about his anatomy and physiology and his biomechanics And so maybe they have solved the riddle and maybe you will be right about Sean Lloyd I'll tell you but I thought you boys with you being so newsy I thought you were gonna go into this Jacob Cox and tweet about how the world is gonna end before the 2030s And that the season wasn't even gonna end because of AI. I thought that's where you were going and I was like Boldness would be beyond bold. So I'm glad we didn't go there. It is a freak I mean if you guys haven't read this it's scary blank and blank but Well, we did discuss it ahead of time It didn't make the bold list. All right, that's probably thanks for not predicting the end of the world We appreciate it. And if humanity is what he said so yeah We've all seen the Terminator movies. I feel like we should have known this I don't know why we need this guy to tell us that this is bad guys You do a great show. It's great when I get to join it
I look forward to your next call. I don't think Towsha's any days off Penciled in anytime soon though. So we appreciate you jumping on and thank you for your bull takes good luck That is Eric Bilstad and Vince Vatrono You guys that know Vinnie is gonna eat at him the rest of the day. Yeah, I can tell already He's just looking at the top right He's like Mel Cartheter zone melted like the wicked witch and bills I'm sure Eric and Pancake everybody's gonna be really nice about how you know just completely empathetic to Vinnie's Blunder Well on the bright side Not only did it give us some fun to talk about But hey, why don't you take this opportunity to tell us about price picks and Martian Linch Well, I just ordered up my prize picks because tonight is the opener You got the Sam Donald 0.5 yards passing
There's a bunch of I think Smith and Jigba. I want to say 0.5. I like that one I'm gonna probably do a three piece tonight Because football is back and price picks has made it even more exciting with a stack September I just went through a couple of the promotions that they have going the app is simple to use you pick two to six players I'm gonna go with three tonight choose more or less on player projections like passing yards rushing yards fantasy score made kicks Price picks also features live box scores Improved search functionality and a social feature that lets you find popular picks and you can copy them in one click So get ready for kickoff and make your first lineup on price picks and if you do that download the app use code WI 150 bucks bam Instantly in lineups if you win your first five download again download the app use the code WI 150 bucks beep right in your lineup once you hit that first five dollar line price picks Like our friend Marshawn Lynch and maybe Marshawn lights say run your game

That's what I think of when I think of Steve the Homer true Homer good morning. How are you?
I'm fine. How are you doing good? Thanks? You are by the way, I get credit. I told you exactly what would happen with Johnson Notre Dame exactly You get credit. Yeah, you get and and and now we go through this whole year like can you do it? Not they're going to be six seven eight wins and and we'll see anybody and you know This will be good. It'll be like this all year look good. Maybe not looks so good. I I was really impressed I have to get asked you this. How do you tell the quarterback? knucklehead we need you the whole season So you want me to be aggressive, but how do you want to be aggressive otherwise? He's gonna get hurt and then there's fans of getting over five and a half which I found somewhere to wait What do you how do you tell a quarterback to be yourself, but not be yourself? You you make sure you let them know how vital you are to the team and that they make good decisions a couple of those hits That was not him being careless correct. That was Notre Dame being dogs
That was what yeah, that was a penalty said this Notre Dame being being well I was a it was a hit to the head for sure, but yeah, yeah, but I'm just saying forget that yeah like okay You need to be but you want him to be himself. He's got to be himself. He's gonna have to he's gonna have to Move the chains and he's gonna be a big part of our running game no doubt He's gonna take some hits. It's taking good hits not bad ones Shouldn't he work on getting others to do it and then he is the last resort or does that fit because if he's a big If he's high on the list of running, he's gonna get hurt. Well They're gonna run he's gonna run the football high on the list. That's gonna be well You got to limit it. I mean yeah, there's no doubt that's a concern that there's gonna be a concern What would you say if you were his tackle? I would say be smart you have to there's there's some you can control and there's others that you can't and I don't think There were anywhere he took a shot get out of bounds when you can get down when you can but there's certain runs
You're gonna get hit and there are some violent hits that I was glad that he popped up from And the reality as you can't say this is that every quarterback is different in terms of smarts Right, so some you could tell but they just don't listen that's kind of who they are others It appears to me that he has smart But they'll figure that out. Well, we certainly hope sorry Towsh, you've told the story many times about Aaron Rogers in Detroit And how that was a turning point for him when he got that concussion That he realized how important he was he couldn't put himself in harm's way that way no doubt So we'll see if Colton Joseph learns that same lesson all right homer. We need I need more from you But we don't have enough time for more from you. So we'll just do our bold prediction I'll talk to you again tonight tomorrow night on your program Time now for Steve the homer truce bold prediction. I Believe this is not only bold but historic The division will end up in a four-way tie every team will be three and three and you guys can figure out the tiebreakers
For every team in the division will be three and three. I don't believe it's ever happened in the history of the NFL So when this happens you will have to admit that this is the greatest bold Predicting ever nobody's ever predicted something that has never happened before in the NFL correct So they'll all be like ten and seven No, he's saying everybody's three and three in the division. There's what I think correct. Yep Yep, you wait next never happened so the bears could be like six and a lad but three and three in the division Correct. Yes. What the heck does that matter? You checked out I checked a eye earlier two and they ended up giving me a route that it was wrong Okay, which I Tie in the division never happened before Somebody just wait a second. I want to make sure we're getting this right I thought you said they're gonna go three and three in the division Everybody's gonna go ten and seven and it's gonna be a four-way tie. No, everybody's gonna go hide in the division
Who cares about the record in the division the Packers Went to the playoffs going two and four in the division hold on the key will be Given my brilliance that people are gonna have to start looking right now at the tiebreakers and how tiebreakers could work Well, not if they don't all finish with the same overall record What so overall record is the number one the number one thing if you're all tied in the division Okay Good wait a minute. What how do you think they decide who wins the division? It's not based on how many division wins you get it's Starts with if you go 12 and five and three and three in the division and the bears go six and eleven and go three and three in the division The team that's 12 and five wins the division. So that's the tiebreakers. Yeah, so Then whoever has the best record that has there ever been it when all four teams finish with the same division record belt I'm predicting that and it's the wildest prediction that's ever been suggested on this in this segment because no one's ever done
I'm not as blown away as you think you You as you thought you were doing that Five five five said historic if you were Ten and seven interesting that it's never finished three and three in the division and they have to figure out the tiebreaker from there I'm in I love it. I don't understand it Who's winning the division who do you got winning the division then? I don't believe that's my predict my bowl prediction who's winning the division yeah I'll go with the pack Okay You're this is the deal. I love you. You know I do You're getting an F on your I want to be on your side You realize I realize I realize you don't get no do you realize late in the season all the games going on and how they would have to play out Yeah, you know, but nobody cares but to Jason's point if the packers are 13 and four and their three losses are in the division
And everybody else is three and three but they win the division and they're the ones. See nobody gives a rip Well, but you could the last you're gonna have games the last week where somebody went to their four to somebody left it to and four No, I know nobody cares like why do I care? No, tell me why I should care Because it's never happened before And I still enough that's why you should care. I'm fine. Give me an I just did I'm kind of proud of an F That's the first I'll say this you'd rather be an F than a C in the bowl of the thon like I know doubt about that Don't catch it. Don't you just want to don't you just want to augment your predictions? I'm saying everybody is ten and seven. Yeah finish ten and seven That would be interesting. I didn't say I don't think you could all be ten and all have the same right? You could sure All right, what about if they're all nine and eight? It could be 11 I'll go I'll go it now they can't all be 11 I will go well then you make that your prediction. I don't want that to be my I want mine to be good
But no offense By the way, I picked Cooper to be great last year. He was good. Yeah I You want another one? Another one? Craft will be the Taker craft will be the NFL offensive player the year. I like that. Okay. All right. I Change No, I just what do you mean I can't So I'm sorry You asked You said you said I needed I Can't do that. No, it's you got it I'm not The offense It's like no What do you mean it doesn't Gotta get the Gary Hold on hold on to you other people did he not say That one sucks Or Why don't you have another one? I did they not ask me to have I didn't ask you We wanted you to go with the ten and seven all four teams We didn't let you read
You wanted one different than the one I gave I just gave better one I did it We want to check the tape you asked me for something better. I just gave you something better you agreed it's better I'm not a historian I know I Talk to craft NFL and remember offensive player the year You're by Jerry I'm not a Stubed comments in 2011 all of the aFC West teams went three and three it's not even historic All right, can we give you worse than an F? So it's historic deal that AI told them isn't accurate which we all know is true It's not even he just went from an F to a Z I think we're gonna give him a Z could be worse I think my favorite part of that Was well you make it your prediction No, I want mine to be good Oh My god Homer is the best and the worst is the best and the worst
