飯田 蛇笏（いいだ だこつ、1885年（明治18年）4月26日 – 1962年（昭和37年）10月3日）は、山梨県出身の俳人。本名、飯田武治（いいだ たけはる）。別号に山廬（さんろ）。
この句は77歳のときの作である。ライバルはもはやいない、世界にただ一人の自分の道を行くだけである。世に屹立しようとする蛇笏の気概に感動する。
