吉田 茂（よしだ しげる、1878年（明治11年）9月22日 – 1967年（昭和42年）10月20日）は、日本の外交官、政治家。位階は従一位。勲等は大勲位。
富士山と皇室が日本だ、と語っていた吉田茂は、「歴史を知らない国民は亡びる」と語っていた。戦後の日本人は日本の歴史を学んでいるだろうか。特に近代から現代にかけての歴史観を持ち得ているだろうか。常に自らに問うべき至言である。
