日蓮（にちれん、貞応元年（1222年）2月16日 – 弘安5年（1282年）10月13日)は、鎌倉時代の仏教の僧。日蓮宗（法華宗）の宗祖。安房国（のちの千葉県）出身。１１歳で清澄寺の道善房に入門。比叡山・定光院に住し、俊範法印に就学。各寺へ遊学したのち、名を日蓮に改め法華宗を開く。鎌倉幕府に弾圧されながらも布教活動を行った。
この言葉には身が引き締まる。口は禍のもと、確かにそうである。心のもちようが、幸福の源である。確かにそうだ。
