Good morning. All right, let's get right to it. Okay, we have no time for Tom Foulery. And shenanigans, it's over. Shenanigans. It's the 18th now. Is that what he said? Is it shenanigans and Tom Foulery? Something like that, yeah. Shenanigans and Tom Foulery will have none of that. It's already, it's the 18th. And goodwill hunting. That's what we're talking about. And oh, the famous journalist who actually played quarterback for two different teams in preseason. I just can't think of his name at the moment. Yeah, I mean, it wasn't shenanigans. Something else in Tom Foulery. Valley, oh, yeah, no time for Yeah. Valley, who and Tom Foulery will add shenanigans since we're close shenanigans. Valley, who and Tom Foulery were closing out St. Patrick's Day. Yeah, sober up.
Those character looks at me goes, how hard is it for you to keep hiding the fact that you're gay? Oh, my gosh, and the look. It's been, right. Just by the use of those words is what? That's something that Hollywood couldn't put in a script these days. No, they couldn't, they couldn't. They couldn't now. Well, think about this. I'm thinking about, you know, the new Ayatollah, right? And the story that got out. And there was nothing denying it today. Did you see a thing denying it? I didn't see anything from the state media or any representatives in Iran that they countered that. But think about this. I brought you the CBS version of that, right? CBS's version of that on the same day that New York Post and others were reporting that in an intel meeting, the president had been told the new Ayatollah, the previous Ayatollah's son was gay.
That intel told them he was gay. And it was one of the reasons that the former Ayatollah didn't want him to be the successor. Well, the CBS version of that story said that his father didn't want to choose him because he wasn't smart. And he was still going back, sorry, I'm smart. Not like everybody says. And then later in the story, also because he had personal problems. So I don't know Barry Weiss, but maybe she needs to get hold of whoever wrote that story. And if they're referring to being gay as a personal problem, they might want to take a different approach because the radical left will take that seriously if they perceive it that way. I thought to myself, is that how they're describing it? That's CBS news.
And that's where the article is from. That's a personal problem. Ah, did you hear the son-so came out? Well, it sounds like a personal problem. And I thought to myself, man, that gets richer every single day. I think she's still, I think Barry Weiss is still trying to wrangle all of the radicals in her newsroom and do away with them. That's going to take years, we believe. But when you look at that entire equation, and you and I were talking in the pre-show meeting, the intel that they're gathering, killing another two other top leaders back-to-back over the last 24 to 36 hours. Based on, in part, intel that's coming from the average citizen. Yeah, in fact, they said the average citizen for the militia, the other Soleimani,
that they got that from intel from ordinary Iranians, who, you know, the only way you communicate those messages, you would think, would be on the ground directly. Yeah, would be the operatives, a special forces from Israel on the ground, even though both were missile attacks. And again, I don't know if cell phones are working, or whether there's any type of communication in Iran right now. By the way, it was the late George Plimpton, who said that, no more shenanigans, no more Tom Foulery, no more Bally, who? Bally, who? Yeah. Yeah. Who will hunting loose looks at them like, what the God's world? But let's, let's first start with the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joe Kent, yesterday, who resigned and said, basically, it was Israel, you know, this was in Trump's decision,
in essence, is what he's trying to communicate, that it was Israel, the drag Trump in there. I even saw Chris Cuomo yesterday saying, come on, they didn't drag him in. No, just stop it. But the, I think the most fascinating thing is because of the internet and the things that Kent has said before, he was completely destroyed by the end of the day. Yeah, it didn't take long at all. Any credit, this is one that came out and interview that he did just three months ago. Hmm, here we go. They're still registering for the draft, aren't they? Like, that's, that's the logical conclusion to the direction that we're heading in right now, unless we make some serious changes. I mean, it's already, it's, I've already heard rumors that fifth group is going to be sending guys to Iraq because of the escalated situation with Iran now. Yeah, I mean, most Americans aren't aware of it. We've, our troops in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 150 plus times
by Iranian proxies. And when we say that, that takes the imminent threat right away. I mean, if you're attacking, if your proxies are attacking, as we said, the United States, every time they do that, that's an act of war. That's an imminent threat. Yep. And as we said before, you know, I saw CNN do the, the, the, the poll of Republicans. It's like 90% of Republicans are saying, yeah, we're in favor of it. The goal is always to convince independence. But the fact is, if you've paid any type of attention at all, you understand why we are in this war with Iraq. With Iran. Yeah, well, Iran, thank you. That was over with, with, with, with, with, with Iran. Yeah. You, you understand it, right? You understand what has gone on? How long it has gone on? Mm-hmm. And you understand it. You're concerned about how long it might last.
Well, that's always, I look, the end game is always a concern until the end game is over in any war. Right. And I don't know, you know, what's behind Kent, you know, what's going on in his mind. But when you talk about imminent threat, and then you say, it's not an, it wasn't an imminent threat. And then coming up, conjuring up that the Israelis basically convinced Trump that he needed to do it. And he didn't really want to do it. We've been looking at Iran for a while, and Kent knows this. Part of the evidence is what you just played. He's talked about it openly. And, you know, you want to step down for another reason, because you disagree with the tactic. All right. And you don't want to be a part of it. Okay. Bye. But he just absolutely got shredded for the rest of the day. You know what I mean? The videos and the evidence coming out of what he has said in the past,
based on, you know, what he said was his reason for stepping down. You know, it just reeked. Here's what it reaked up. It reaked up a higher loyalty. It just seemed, it just seemed odd to me. It was almost like he was a mole saying something for a significant period of time until it was time to, you know, come out, come out and do the deed. Yeah. You know, Trump actually posted on true social. What Kent wrote, you know, back in in 2020, when Trump said, we should not sit and wait for the next attack. Wipe Iran's ballistic capability out and get our troops out of Iraq. They are only targets now of Iran. He posted that, Joe Kent. And so you look at this and this is what, you know, what it, that's why I said, I told you in our prescriptions, I said, this is like he's a mole purposely sent in saying,
I agree with you, agree with you, agree with you, agree with you, agree with you, and then boom at a crucial moment, come on and just go, he's completely and totally wrong. Yeah. And a, and a tool of the Israelis, who's like, well, dude, you got, you have a history of saying 180 degrees, the opposite, which helped get you your position in the Trump administration to begin with. So one way or the other, it's Kent that ends up being convinced or persuaded by another party. Think about that, whether it was to step down or to be the mole along the way, because he's, he's basically pointing a Trump saying he was persuaded by the Israelis to do it. I mean, he just got it handed to him all day. You want to step down and, and move on because you don't believe in the, in the forward strategy or whatever it's going, whatever it is, that's one thing. Okay, bye, see you.
But coming up with it again, it came off as James Comey part two. It came off as Peter Struck. It came off as, you know, all of these who thought they were going to be heroes. I'm going to be a hero by quitting. Yeah. Because he has said the opposite all along. And, and all of a sudden in one day becomes Tucker Carlson. Yeah. Yeah. Just like, I just, yeah. And, and so I, it's just, you just, I went, wow, this isn't going to last long. And he was just blasted on social media. Oh, one of the, I just got to bring this up too. I don't think I brought it up on the air. I think I brought it up. I don't know, maybe it wasn't even you I talked to him about, but I, something I saw last week and it was, you know, it was somebody on the left, talking about X and saying, you know, everybody talks about the social media's driving thing,
social media's driving things. Well, do you know that only one in, in five Americans, only one in five Americans, use X daily. Well, that means the vast majority don't. Well, that means 60 over 60 million people use X every day. That is way over what any network would, any network would dream of getting it. You know, they, the, you know, Fox News really is the top, the, the top of the heap of any of the cable news channels. And what do they max out it? Maybe four million for their top show and then a lot of prime time. Right. Anywhere between, you know, right. And exactly, but anywhere between, you know, one point five and three million, probably is the majority of their shows that are in there. And somebody's got, it was somebody finally brought up. They go, yeah, but no other news media gets 60 million people
viewing it every single day. It's not close and it's growing. And so I just thought it was pretty, I just thought it was pretty, but I just popped into my head right now. You know, I said, if you can play, if you lose the debate on social media, you really in this country right now lose the debate. Well, politically, if you're any political figure at all, and you lose the debate on social media, you're done. Because you'll get shredded. It wasn't that way before Elon Musk bought X. The truth could be their version of the truth. The truth could be formed basically by a consensus and then throttling people down and having their influence limited or their followers being limited or whatever it was. Now, I'll say this. The whole magazine was interesting to see because now you see so much of that fragmented.
But it was always what you and I said it was from the beginning. MAGA is Donald Trump. You know, so the competition on social media to be more MAGA than Donald Trump himself was ridiculous. And then it turned out to be, you know, people like Tucker Carlson, MTG, people who are frankly useless. Well, and when you see the support, CNN was doing the support is like 90 percent of Republicans are, you know, are four at nine percent are against. And it's just like, okay, you might have had that MAGA out there. But when you look at Iran, any Republican, any conservative who's been paying attention for a significant period of time, they've come to their own conclusions. Tucker Carlson was never going to change them. No, no, you know, he was never going to change. Kent was never going to change. The conservative Republican or the Republican that's actually been paying attention to what's been going on with Iran, you know, all these years.
They might have supported him said, well, yeah, I like him. He does some good stuff on Fox news, whatever, but they never bought into that. They never bought into most, you know, you had, I think, Democrats and you had independence that might have liked the isolationist message that that small part of MAGA at that time was promoting, but you never had the majority close to even a plurality of Republicans that bought into the fact of isolationism. You never did. Right. Yeah, because it wasn't real or the fact that Israel controls what the United States does or what Trump does in this particular case. Right. That if Trump agrees with Israel, then they're controlling them and buy it. They never did. No, no. If they thought that was the case, you would hear a lot more. That chatter would be overwhelming and you don't and you don't. We are right. I radio brought to you by hot shot secret. Hi, I'm Jen Lumis, a transport safety
expert at JJ Keller. Drivers must always be prepared for a roadside inspection. This means drivers should always have their personal vehicle and company credentials organized and ready. The top two violations written against drivers every year are log general form and manner and log not current. Both are completely avoidable if the driver keeps the log accurate, compliant and current at all times. Having the vehicle ready for inspection involves the driver conducting daily inspections and making sure any problems that are discovered are immediately corrected. Vehicle readiness also requires the company to make sure that the vehicle is current on all scheduled maintenance and that the maintenance schedule is adequate. This will make sure the driver is being given a sound vehicle to start with. This tip was brought to you by JJ Keller and associates. Visit us at jjkeller.com. Coming up, more with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley. It's Red Eye Radio.
We are Red Eye Radio. He is here. Curly and I'm Gary McNamara. We only have the important news for you here. Only the important news on Red Eye Radio. This breaking news. Breaking news. This is important news. Stop what you're doing. Pearl Jam has asked their fans to call senators to vote no on the Save America Act. Pearl Jam is coming out in favor of fraud in elections. The flannel caucus has spoken. Was it you who told me that it has to go back to the 90s that Eddie Vetter actually like slept in his car talking when he was talking about it. He was after their first album, they got tremendously wealthy.
It took off in ways that nobody had ever seen. Then when they went on to their second or third album, I can't remember which one it was, he decided to go live in his truck. Keep in mind, he probably had 10 million at least in the bank, at least. So you had to pretend to pretend that I wanted to do it so that he could be hungry to write songs. I thought, dude, you're not hungry. You're not even close to being hungry. If you don't have the passion to write songs anymore because you have money in the bank, I mean, I don't know what to tell you. But that's not the way to do it. The way to do it would have been give me the 10 million dollars so you have zero. Now you're hungry. Now we'll write your next album. Right. Give me the 10 million dollars. Yeah. Then go to your car. I thought immediately. He could have given all that and decided, you know, I need you to stay hungry. You know, there's this infamous story. Lady Gaga
after her first major tour, she took all the money she made from it and reinvested it into her next tour because it was going to be a showcase for all the big promoters. And her dad said she didn't keep hardly any money for herself or now it paid off for her. Yeah. You know, but my thought would have been, well, Eddie, just give your money away. If you need to be hungry, you can be hungry. When you really need care, you need 24-7 access to a care team, not a maze of paperwork from a third party. up in just a minute and a half. Are you one of those people whose eggs and pains seems to get worse when there's going to be a weather change? You notice that I used to be one of those people until relief factor. And it's and when you live in North Texas, I mean we had near freezing temps here in recent days. And we're going to be up in the mid 90s by the weekend. And it just it's the weather's all over the place. But back in the day, lots of eggs and pains if there was going to be a change in the weather. And sometimes it's kind of how I knew they were right on the forecast with relief factor. So I mean, we're just to them just the middle of the week. And it's just one of those just crazy times again. Yeah. And as we all know, James Talleriko is running against either a John coroner can packed in for US Senate state of Texas. And we all know the Talleriko beat Jasmine Crockett in the primary. This came out from 2022. All right. Here we go. All right. From 2022. Okay. And don't worry. He is fully masked in this. Oh, good. And we're playing the audio. But we can see the video. Yeah. But he's fully masked. Here we go. All right. We have, I think heard more and more issues of animal welfare. I think not just because
it's the right thing to do and the moral thing to do. But also it's as all of you know, Missouri to fight climate change. It is now existential that we try to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to respect animals in all aspects of society. And so I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a non meat campaign. So we have, we are a we are only buying vegan products from from our local vegan businesses. Some of you may know big known as they were little known as and then they opened up a brick and mortars and a big known. Okay. So we know where he's going here. Yeah. Right. Yeah. This appears on X that audio cut and then Brandon Gill writes this. James Telleriko wants to represent Texas, but his anti meat, anti gun, anti oil, things white people are inherently racist that God is nine binary and that the Bible justifies abortion. Man, I, I, I smell a landslide
well, he's at least got 40% of the vote. He's got in the state of Texas. He's definitely beat Jasmine Crockett. That tells you how radical he is. It's, it's, it's on. But you think about it. Could you be any more anti Texan? If you're, no, if you're about it, anti meat, anti gun, anti oil, before we even get to any of the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the cultural, you know, the cultural stuff. Right. The racist stuff and, you know, that the, the, the Bible justifies abortion stuff, which is just bizarre, but just anti meat, anti gun and anti oil alone. Right. Well, you know, Jasmine Crockett didn't get it done. I wonder about her first ad that I saw that I didn't see when the second wave of ads came through
on digital. I don't know if it was, play somewhere else, but it wasn't getting to me on the digital side. And it was about ice because everything was going on in Minnesota at that time. And at the end, it said, impeach, gnome, who ended up getting fired? But in Texas, there's a border state where the border counties, many of those border counties went for Trump. I thought to myself, is that it was that the wrong play in Texas? Well, Tariqo's like, hold my beer. Look at all the radical things that I stand for that are totally against the grain in Texas. He's got the Austin vote for sure. I mean, just you shake, you just shake your head going, wow. And, and the fact is it's, it's all on tape. And you cannot look nothing here. You cannot say that anybody is anybody on the right is exaggerating any
of the positions that he holds. No, no. And you know, here's the thing. I really believe there's something to what I said before, they wanted someone who could do who could express the radical views in a serious tone. And through serious behavior, I think one of the problems with Jasmine Crockett, she didn't come off as serious about it. You know, the whole dancing in the hallway thing, you're just trying to make a TikTok video. Nobody needs to see that. Nobody wants to see that. Even the radical left, they want you to be serious. They want you to be angry, but they want you to do it in campaign mode. You've got to at least be serious, but you definitely have to be radical. And Talarika wins. And that's what you have. It goes back to what we have seen from David Hogg. Remember David Hogg, he was talking about, remember that, remember that it was so long ago. I mean, I know how many months has it been? I know. I know. But you know, when he was one of the type guys chosen for
the DNC and he was saying, look, our party is not attracting basically my demographic young people to the party. And what he was saying is there needs to be more radicals out. There need to be more radicals. He's not the first one. He's not the first one. But I haven't seen anybody shape it up the way I shaped it up about Talarika. I do believe there is, we want you to be radical. We want you to be serious about it. And that's it. That's the difference. It's not that he's coming off as normal. We want you to be serious and white. Yes. Right. Apparently they made the choice. We did. That's, that's their team, not ours. Exactly. And that's, you know, that, that's how it goes down. And the question is, because I thought to myself, okay, if you extrapolate that out and apply that to 28, and who are you looking at? And you're looking at Newsom, Newsom with his
bobble head, you know, going all over the place when he's, I'm doing the bobble head right now, because it's just, it comes off as silly. He comes off as looking very not serious. And by the way, we already know that he's embarrassingly handsome. Yeah. When he, when he does the head thing, I keep thinking a night at the rocks. Yeah. Exactly. No, that's what he looks like. He's just, and he can't, he can't control his body language. And he doesn't come off as somebody with conviction. You know, because his views are radical. We know that. But, but he doesn't come off as somebody with very serious conviction. You, you know what the evidence is of that? Hmm. The polling of Democrats. Yeah. Yeah. That's the, you want the evidence that Democrats look at Newsom, see how low he is. Yeah. As a presidential candidate. And remember, this all remember his numbers before he debated
DeSantis. Yeah. Right. His numbers were a lot higher. Right. After he debated, you know, DeSantis, boom, he's never really recovered from that. Nobody takes him seriously. He doesn't know where to go on the issues. He's trying to ride the fine line. But he can't do that in California. Right. No, he can't. He really can't. But that's how you know, when Kamala Harris is beating you, and nobody takes her serious. No. Not even the Democratic party. They view her as one of the biggest losers. Yeah. Yeah. Well, except in, uh, what is it? Jerry O'Connell? Is it O'Connell? Yeah. Jerry O'Connell. Jerry O'Connell, South. Did you see? You know, did you see that he said we had talked about the Chester. He was on with Bill Mar. And Bill Mar was like, what do you tell him? He goes, well, I can't really tell you maybe exactly what I think because my
wife and daughters will get mad at me because when I tried to explain why Harris lost the, uh, the election and there should have been a primary. They got physical with me, which means they hit him. Right. Yeah. And he's in Bill Mar. And he goes, how could you ever live like that? He has now said he will never be on any other podcast. Again, except a podcast that doesn't talk about politics because he got such flak from his family for saying that I'm Bill Mar. Wow. Wow. Okay. So that yesterday, I'm like, oh, I can't say, I can't upset. I can't tell you what I truly believe because when he's talking about, he can't even talk, think about this, think how bad it is. He wasn't talking about the fact that he didn't want her to win. He wanted her to win. Yeah. It's that he, it was simple analysis. According to what he said, I bill Mar's podcast. And he was, by the way, he was right on those things that he said, everybody else was saying the same thing.
And you know, maybe he was saying it earlier than everybody else in his household heard from everybody who the basic analysis was, there should have been a primary. She lost because it wasn't well organized and there should have been a primary. Now she lost because more of that, but those things that he said weren't weren't in that's right. The analysis from all of the left is is is exactly what he said. Yes. In that moment from from the left from the left. And remember, they did the autopsy of the election and they wouldn't, they wouldn't put out. Yeah. Well, we won't put out the, we won't make the autopsy public. We can't. What does it do embarrassing? Right. Uh, and then some of that did leak out and it was really everything that everybody had thought to begin with. Right. Yeah. But he wasn't saying he vote, he would vote for Trump. Well, saying is the Democrat strategy is wrong. And he claimed because he said that, the women in his family, the only thing I can say is getting physical,
tried to beat him up. Yeah. That's abuse. This, you know, this is that's, think about that. He wanted her to win. Right. He's disappointed and demonstrating his disappointment. But not in a way that was really, according to his own description, uh, degrading to Kamala Harris, it was about the process and how it should have been handled. Hmm. Can't even do that. Can't even do that. Yeah. Man. And now he said publicly, I will, I cannot go on. I will not go on any other podcast. I'm not going to publicly speak about anything about politics because my wife and daughters will try to beat me up again.
That's what physical means, right? I'm trying to think, I think my wife would, if, if I tried to refrain from saying what I believed, I think that's when she'd strike me in the shoulder. I mean, you know, it's because, I mean, my wife is very pragmatic. She gets straight to the point when she speaks. You know what her convictions are. And of course, she's not abusive. Like some celebrities families are and, you know, but you, in our house, you're expected to speak your mind and be honest about it. Yeah. But stand on your convictions. Well, Jerry now realizes that his wife and daughters are the permission structure in his own. They are. Well, it needs to go hang out with him, Governor Tim. Well, we are right, I radio. We are when I radio. He's our crony. And I'm Gary McNamara. You just had an update on something. This is from the Associated Press. We were talking about Iran and what happened there, again, two of their top leaders being killed by Israel. But this is from the Associated Press posted just a little while ago that Iran lashed out following the killing of one of its top leaders in an air strike with attacks on its golf neighbors and Israel on Wednesday using some of its latest missiles to evade air defenses and killing two near Tel Aviv. They also said in the story that there was, let me go back here to the x page. Iran's judiciary says a man has been executed for allegedly spying for Israel's Mossad intelligence agency. That's on their the AP x page.
They posted that a little while ago a few minutes ago. And the reason we bring that up is that we had talked a little while ago about the Wall Street Journal. Not the editorial page, the news division, which is more liberal, saying that ordinary Iranians actually gave the tip to kill one of the militial leader. Yeah. Don't know if it's related. Don't know, but it's just the news agency did identify the man and allegedly said that he provided images and information on sensitive locations to Israel. Just so everybody knows when we told you that story that Iran claims that they have executed somebody forgiving aid to the Israelis and this is after the report. We've I first saw the report Wall Street Journal that the killing of one of the militia heads, the other Solomanias they like to refer to him as that they got the information from ordinary Iranians. We don't know whether that's true or whether it's propaganda. Because you know, the one thing you'd want to do is if your leaders are being killed and you see the reports, you know, from the States, which they probably do, that the Iranian citizens are
helping either you execute someone who isn't responsible, you execute somebody who is responsible or it's a complete lie. Yeah, right. You're doing it for the propaganda. Yeah. Basically telling the people, this is what cooperating with the Israelis will get you. Right. Which they already know. Well, we know that the regime has no problem at all killing protesters, killing their own citizens. So I think it would already be assumed, but you kind of restate it. If it's not true, you restate it. And if it is true, you of course put it out there to again, restate it to the citizens of Iran that you are not going, you are not to do this. I think it was Monday show that you and I both said with what the president was saying, it seems like he's made the decision we're finishing this.
And I think now that we're to Wednesday, yeah, I, I, I will stick by that. It, yeah, I don't think even more so with what he said about NATO, we don't need your help. Right. Right. That there's not going to be any hesitation. Uh, because that was some of the concern. I mean, you saw it in, in conservative media saying is the president going to leave the job not done and when he came out and said, we're not going to go back every two years. Right. We're going to finish that off. By the way, I saw John Bolton like that. It goes, but the president's right. It's true. If you're going to go in, you finish it. Yeah. And when, uh, you know, the Wall Street Journal had that, uh, their lead article, in fact, was how the Israelis are going in. And one by one, if they have to, taking out everybody in the regime. Yeah. Because we had said probably, you know, one thing, again, even if I know which I don't, I wouldn't report it. Uh, you know, if, if we knew where, uh, assets
were on the ground, uh, we have said though, don't be surprised. We know Israeli assets around the ground. We know the CIA's on the ground. Yeah. Everybody knows that. I mean, like that, that's just, that's a given. I don't, I don't have any specific information where somebody has told me that we just know in any situation like this, the CIA is on the ground disseminating information. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Uh, whether there's special forces there or not, we don't know. Yeah. But, uh, it, it looks like, you know, and, and, you know, that could take, that could take a little while. But, uh, when you, when you see everything that's going on and we started out the show with this yesterday saying, it's getting to be just absurd where we judge a war minute by minute. And so could you imagine if World War II was judge that way every single minute? Imagine, would we have ever won any war if social media existed? Well, no, I mean, you know, you think about it. It was back in the day. It was newsreels.
Yeah. You know, if you didn't have a TV, you would see it at a theater. Yeah. You would see it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're great point. Yeah. Which means you'd only see it once a week, once, that's if you're wealthy, maybe once a month. Yeah. And so you would get, you know, of course, you got a lot of things over the, the radio. But we all know radio is, we're joking. We love radio. It's one night. We, I listened to it at least once a year, but it's, no, it is the, you know, if you think about it, radio kind of has always been the original social media. I mean, everybody gathered around the radio. Yeah. Yeah. Television kind of became that. But for news, I remember as a kid the evening news, you know, everybody would, you know, it's like quiet. Because there was no replay. There was no
pausing it, rewinding it or anything, you know, today with, I don't know, do they still have DVRs? I don't know. But you mentioned going to the movie theater during World War II to see the news reels, but radio was constantly reporting it. Right. Exactly. And even from over in Europe. Sure. And, and, you know, so that was kind of it. And, but the discussion, of course, was within the household, right? It wasn't what Frank down the street said at the Israelis are wrong because of, you know, whatever. Well, but even in the, because the media outside of social, I mean, the, the media is part of social media because they all have their own page. Right. And they, they, they post things on a consistent basis. So that line has been blurred to begin with. But even the media, as we said yesterday, it's absolutely reprehensible. It's irresponsible. It's childish and it's not accurate to judge a war minute by minute. You know, for example, when there's still made the statement last week, you know, the United States isn't what,
which Congressman made that comment. The United States isn't winning this course. We're winning it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We definitely are. Of course we are. But you make those instantaneous decisions. Okay. We've been at war four days. Are we winning or are we losing? Well, yeah, we're winning. We know we're winning. Yeah. We're winning. And we know we're winning just by the common sense or the common sense to knowledge what our military and his, uh, Israel's military is compared to Iran. You know that militarily we can defeat them. As we said from the very beginning, that's not even in question. So when you start questioning that based on what we heard this report, this means we're not winning. That's ridiculous. Well, the joint chiefs and nobody had a plan for the uh, uh, Straits of Hormuz. Of course they did. Of course they have. Yeah. You know, one of the things is, you know, the, uh, that's been brought up is that, you know, the ships, you know, don't want to go because they don't know where, you know, mobile cruise missiles may be or whether they've got the cruise missiles that are buried so deep, which is why they were
dropping those bunker busters. Right. Five thousand pounders. Exactly to take them out. Yeah. But what they're saying is, you know, hey, start us, uh, start, uh, exporting your, excuse me, uh, escorting. Yeah. All right. I'm old. Uh, you know, you're the word escort. Yeah, you start. You're getting old. I'm that old. I can't get a date. I mean, I need an escort. I've, he's someone to escort me in my groceries to my car. But, but the, the, the whole point is, uh, you know, has, has been brought up many times. All these tankers are insured. Yeah. Right. And they can't get the insurance. Yeah. They're more likely to get insurance if their own military ships are her. One on one side, one on the other, one in front, one in behind. Yeah. You know, it's, it's, it's a simple thing like that. Yeah. And so, you know, that's why the president wanted it. Now, Europe has said, no, we're going to
sit this one out. I think the president's absolutely right saying, fine, you want to sit this one out. We'll do it alone and don't expect our help. And, you know, we've got a lot of troops in different places around the world that don't necessarily have to be there or not necessarily, do we need that for the security of the United States? Right. And, you know, we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens, you know, there, whether they're doing it because of the tariffs, you know, that's been brought up. I don't know. But if you're going to be involved, if the goal is to be a part of a winning coalition that you can take credit for bringing peace to the Middle East, this is your best chance you're ever going to have. Yeah. And, and it would have, and it's your best chance to keep the coalition, to keep NATO strong against Russia and China, if you can be on the right side of history and bring peace to the Middle East. It is a,
forget about whether it, you know, well, I don't want anything in favor of the United States. And we know that exists out there from liberals. You know, it does. Yeah. You know, do you want to be part of strengthening the world coalition against Russia and China? Right. And, and, and if you want to throw North Korea in, but they're not really as much of a worry, you know, and so I think strategically it's a mistake. Forget politically, militarily, strategically, it's a mistake for Europe not to be cooperating to ensure that their own tankers get through. It's, no, that's, that's the, the thing on, on when we're talking about essentially protecting your own property. Yeah. In the very direct interest of your own nation or set of nations, it's a, and Trump wins on this old day, old day. I don't know what happens if
anything changes in their position. But he is in the right old day on this. And, and, you know, I look at it like almost like Ukraine, Russia, you know, they're all screaming, well, the US needs to get involved in, you know, I mean, they practically want boots on the ground in Ukraine, going to war with Russia. It's a very, this is a very, very different situation because they have a direct interest in the straight of Hormuz and the threat that still is in existence until it's not by what's left of the regime in Iran and also by their proxies. We know this. The proxies are everywhere. They're in every westernized country. They are, they are on that soil and likely have been for a while. There are threats that come from
so many different ways. If you're not going to do anything to protect yourself, why should we do something to protect you? Did you see that editorial? I don't know who had it. There's just so much news out there to absorb that. And I think it was headline why the hoodies are sitting this out. It seems. Yeah. Yeah. And it's like they see the writing on the wall and they want to move away. Yeah. Because they understand and from Iran because because they're next. If they take out a ran, then if we become a problem, we're next right now. You know, they don't know they don't know what to do. Now again, that's a analysis, which I don't know whether it's correct or not. It was we know it has been active and launching some missiles and but it comes down to this and we talked about this early on. It what it is again, you don't know how deep the loyalty is and that comes down to whether or not you believe the regime is going to win this long term or not.
And if the hoodies believe, look, we're not, the regime is gone. If you listen to everything, the Trump administration is saying. And then of course, the latest two killings by Israel top Iranian officials, if they're not gone, they're almost completely gone. It's not going to be long, which means the hoodies have no backing whatsoever, no support and also likely no belief, maybe if they are done, if they're sitting quietly for this reason, then it's about believing that the regime change is going to mean the end of of their organization or at the very least. Here would be my they don't get involved now because there just isn't that support coming from Iran. Here would be my my question. And my question is probably making a statement. I've always say when I ask a question, sometimes I ask a question just because I'm asking a question, but
the change that seemed to happen this weekend in the White House, which is like, okay, no, we're going to and we started off Monday show by saying, doesn't it seem like the language is different? And there's not any Hemington Harin. Well, we'll see where it goes that and now, now that we're to Wednesday, the language from the White House has been we're going to finish this. We're not going to go back in in two years. Is part of the president's confidence based on the fact that whether it's United Arab Emirates, whether it's Qatar, whether it's Egypt, Saudi Arabia, that after all of the attacks that Trump has gotten the message from the Middle Eastern countries and Iran, we're now we now bet now that they see that Iran can be gone. And we know, you know,
you go back to the Crown Prince 12, 13 years ago, when he said we have to diversify. We have to be more acceptance of of Western values. When you see, for example, some of the major city, look at Dubai, for example, and how they're becoming international poor is is the mindset finally there that while Iran had the power that they had and the support that they had from Russia and China to become pretty strong militarily over there. If it wasn't for the United States and Israel, which is the United States, it's be honest, not that Israel couldn't do it, but we've supplied them a ton of weapons. Yeah. You know, that that you look at and that's the whole thing that I think that when I when I love it, even Chris Cuomo didn't buy into it that Trump is doing the bidding of of Israel. Right. It's like, well, it could also be the opposite that, you know, we've
want we want peace in the Middle East too. And this is a way to get it. But is the president's determination based on his communication with all the Middle Eastern countries where they're the ones that are now saying we can finish this. Let's finish it. Let's sign these peace deals with Israel. Let's move on. Right. This is our opportunity to do it. Right. And Iran is no longer a threat for a while. And so they're saying, let's go for it at the same time that the European countries are following, you know, France's lead. Yeah. Yeah. Really. And that's a question, but there's also a statement because I have seen enough communication publicly between these countries and what they have said. And I just wonder with the change in really the last five days, whether the president has his determination based on the fact that he knows he has the backing of all the major countries in the Middle East where where Europe doesn't
really matter. Right. Yeah. I think it is. I think the president is very competent. And again, I think he's right on this. We are right. I radio this morning's USDA farm report is brought to you by house products tested, trusted, guaranteed since 1920 active weather systems. So now as we see that the Israeli military taking out leadership one by one, searching down each and every single leader that is left. You know, the next thing which again,
is it out of our control? Remember, the Shah's son came out and said we have our government. We've got the people. We have the infrastructure set to do it or the leadership core in order to go in and have a temporary government. The entire thing is now, which is beyond the United States control is, do the people come out and do they revolt and can you get a temporary government in there? Download our Red Eye Radio app today and you can listen when and where you choose. One more thing too. We're talking about what to look for now in the next couple of weeks. The other thing would be how do we secure their nuclear material? How is that done? Who's going to secure it? Will it be the Israelis? Will it be the Israelis and American Special Forces? Will that be done? Again, there will be no Iranian military forces for a while if you get to that point where you say, okay, we can get a transition government in there. The interesting thing is I was thinking
about the Kurds have been quiet. We heard from them early on, wondering what is their involvement going to be? What is the communication done with the Kurds? I still stand by. I think it might be very, very likely. And again, these are all calculated guesses. But I think the confidence level is greater than the non-confidence level on the fact of what has changed the White House to not be saying, well, this could be over in a couple of days to the message that we're going to finish this job. It's not going to be long, but we're going to finish the job. And we're not going to go back in two years. And then the same this past weekend, when the Shah's son came out and said, we're ready with the transition government. We've got the people. And then the story that the Iranian people are helping point out where a lot of these leaders are. So they can target them.
The entire point is, does the United States go in with boots on the ground as a peace keeping force to ensure that the transition government is in there? And how do you do that? Well, you know, because it leaves open, the problem, the gaps that it leaves open, if it isn't guided, and if there's not oversight by the U.S. and the Israelis, we've seen it in other nations, with Iraq, the fall of Mosul to Al-Baghdadi for three years. I remember coming back when Iraqi forces took control over Mosul again, and it had been three years. And you mentioned it being a much bigger story than it got the attention for. There was something else going on, but it wasn't near the size of the story that Mosul had
been recaptured by Iraqi forces with the help of the U.S. And so then you look at the botched exit of Afghanistan. And that created a terrorism super-state. So what you're looking at here is loyalists, and we know that there are many loyalists that will be in place even if you had peace keeping forces on the ground. You're still going to have attacks internally in Iran from those loyalists, and that probably will happen for a number of years. It's part of this whole thing. It's not going to be a clean transition. It is not going to be something that happens overnight, and that's where getting the public support becomes a bigger issue domestically.
But, and I don't have the answers as to how you do it, but if it's going to happen, the president's, it seems, his attitude has been from the administration this week that, look, this can't go on forever, and we're not going to come back in two years and sweep up again. We're not going to be back in this place again. And if that's the case, then there has to be, and I would love to know the strategy. I don't need to know the strategy. It's not my business to know the strategy, but I can't wait to learn the strategy. Maybe years down the road. It's successful, and how you weed out all the roots that were of the loyalists that have any kind of power or ability to attack. There will be some loan actors along the way, no doubt that we'll try and make a statement. I'm sure we'll make a statement. Well, or Islamic radical groups, from around around the world. Look, the war with Islamic radicalism, I don't see an end for it in
anybody who's my age, their children's, their grandchildren's lifetime. Right. Right. The, you know, and so we talk about the fact that we're not going to fight forever wars. And when we got a big Afghanistan for that, we just went stupid. Yeah. Because this is exactly what the 9-11 commission said. Yeah. Just because we're not at war with them doesn't mean they're not at war with us. Exactly. And the 9-11 commission was bipartisan in agreement that these things don't end. It was a mistake to pull out of Afghanistan. We should have kept the presence. We should have kept the base and a couple of thousand troops over there with the support, you know, of, you know, without allowing it to become another terrorism superstate, but they're going to be exporting terrorism because of the idiocy and the lies of the Biden administration. Yeah. Remember, Biden lied to the American public. He said all the generals told him to get out. They told him the opposite. Right. And, and so, you know, we, it's a different, what's going on
in Iran though is different. Every single one of these situations is different from the other one. But the war against Islamic radicalism is not going anywhere. Right. For the foreseeable future. Well, you want to, you want to stop the major, the major, I think, a war that's going on, but we're still going to be involved in a war with Islamic radicalism, whatever form it comes in. That's not ending. Now, what would make? Because it's about the political will of the American people. And if you see hundreds of thousands of people, for example, hypothetically, the shaw son is in there, gives his first speech, hundreds of thousands of people, they're cheering, that will have a huge impact on public opinion in the United States. And talking about the fact that we, this is a transitional
government. We're going to have a, you know, free elections. The UN will have nothing to do with it. Yeah. Because look, it looks like nobody wants to get involved in this and have peace in the Middle East. Right. Right. Because that's the goal. The goal is peace in the Middle East, the goal beyond Iran. We all know this is to get Saudi Arabia to sign a peace deal, Egypt to sign a peace deal with Israel to have everybody in the Middle East sign a peace deal and say, okay, Islamic radicalism is not going to be in control of the Middle East anymore. Right. Yeah. Not that Islam won't be a part of it. Right. But there is a recognition of many of the leaders we can't go on this way. It's not getting us anywhere. Right. You see slowly the slow westernization, which means acceptance of other cultures, which again, Saudi Arabia was talking about, what 12, 13, 14, 15 years ago, it eventually has to get to this because
and one of the reasons is fracking. Yeah. Yep. They don't control the oil markets completely anymore. No. Do they have an effect on it? Yes. But so with the United States, if the United States stops and today we're stopping drilling, just see how high gasoline prices go. Well, it's, you know, it's that and it's also, you know, it is about the difference between this Iraq and Afghanistan is big, as you mentioned. Because of what you have from other Middle Eastern nations right now and the cooperation and that will to cooperate in a way with the US and Israel and Israel is mind blowing if you've been paying attention for the last 50 to 60 years. And it's spent especially mind blowing when it comes to Iran. So with Iraq, you know, while we had allies involved, you know, Afghanistan,
we had allies involved in this. It is about then sorry to the Trump administration. It was about regime change, but it's also about a change in the mindset in the Middle East. And it is a pivotal moment that if it works to that extent, then the days of state-sponsored terrorism, like what we have seen in recent years, are all but over, not completely over, but you won't see it on at large scale because they understand you can go this path or you can go this path. You're you're moving in the direction. And I would say slowly moving in the direction of more Western philosophy, which is peaceful coexistence with other signing peace deals, trade trade.
Yep. Saudi Arabia talked about that 15 years ago. We got to have trade. We cannot survive. We can't just be an oil producing nation. Right. Other energy forms are coming in in the United States, boom, because of fracking. Right. You know, and Russia even. Yeah. Because oil found around the world and natural gas deposits in the United States. It's like, we don't control it anymore. We have to diversify our economy in order to diversify our economy. We have to have trade deals. If we have trade deals, it means we have to be much more accepting of Western culture. Yeah. And I was I was seeing the, you know, in Dubai, where they've got the, you know, the tallest skyscraper. All American architecture. Yeah. Americans are all over that building. Oh, yeah, yeah. When you actually see it, you talk to the people that are architects, so many of the engineers, all American. And it's like, we have the biggest, it's like, well, they have the biggest skyscraper, but it's really government funded. You know, that's another interesting thing.
All these, well, how come they're building all the skyscrapers? Because they're not profitable. Yeah. Right. They're government funded to show, okay, we are rising to become part of what? A superpower, you know, which they're not yet, but that's the example they're giving. If we can build this tall skyscraper, you know, it shows that we have status. If you want status, it means you want acceptance. You don't get acceptance with Islamic radicalism saying we don't accept anybody unless you abide by what we say. Right. And so that's the one thing that sits in the back of my mind was the change in the White House to put out that consistent message that we're getting this job done, which was even yesterday, when the president said we're not going back every two years. Right. We're not going to do this. We're finishing the job. Is it because of the support from the countries in the Middle East and the communication between since the war has started? And now they see that the United States and Israel have a chance to defeat
Iran and bring peace deals between all the major countries in the Middle East that that's now a possibility if this job is done, peace deals between the Middle Eastern countries and Israel, which will be mind boggling. I said they've been slowly moving. That would be an acceleration that I would thought I would never see in my lifetime. That's what you hope to get. Can you get there? I think that's the key here is the key because if you because in two years, maybe you don't have the cooperation by other Middle Eastern nations. If you don't get it done now, this may be right now the opportunity to walk through this door, get it all done, and have the backing and change everything because if those Middle Eastern, those other Middle Eastern countries believe, oh, this really wasn't going to be a long-term deal. This really isn't going to benefit us long term. We were suckers in getting involved. If they don't see you, go the full measure,
they lose confidence and the whole deal collapses. And that can't happen. And I think the President knows that. We are Red Eye Radio. Coming up more with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, it's Red Eye Radio. We are Red Eye Radio. He's our currently and I'm Gary McNamara. I guess one more thing to bring up now with Israel and the United States targeting individual going to target as many in the government as they can target. Does that bring Iran to the negotiating table, the leadership that is left saying and the negotiation can only be you're gone. Yeah, you're gone, you don't die. You get your life, you get your life, whatever you can go, you can go because the point is,
you're not going to win this, you're either going to die by us or the public's going to hang you. Right. Yeah, so if you want to live, that's the, because that would be the whole point, because I hear that all the time, well, this is going to force them to negotiate, negotiate what? There's only one negotiation you're gone. Right. And now the rumors about the Supreme Leader, that has to be a cultural shock. And I don't know how many people in Iran have heard the rumors, but that's something you can't get beyond and disprove. That adds a whole new element to this whole thing.
