03Potential savings will vary. Discance not available in all states and situations. The ticket, Lady Jennifer of Coons. Well, many thanks, good sir. Here is my discover card. They accept a discover at Renaissance fairs? Yeah, they do here. Discoverers accepted at the places I love to shop. Get it with the times. With the times. You're playing the loot. Yeah, and it sounds pretty good, right? Discoverers accepted at 99% of places that take credit cards nationwide. Based on the February 2025 Nielsen report. What was that? A better. So just managing him right now. You can get a chance to ask about Pearson yesterday. What are you getting, what kind of player? How do you see him fitting in? We get a veteran player that can play any position. You know, got some Stanley Cup heritage. Just a good veteran player that plays the game the right way.
04Another guy who's won a cup, like you said. There's just how much in talking to Yarmol these last few days. Older guys, guys have been deep in the playoffs. There's how much was that ultimately talked about? Not a lot. I mean, we talked about veteran players with how young we are, that down the stretch here, how important it is, how it becomes each game, and how hard it becomes, because it just gets harder. Games get tighter, and we know what, from experience, what it takes to get through. I'm going back to Sam Kirk. Will he bring the line of what will he bring to that fourth line? Well, a right-handed draw, man, that, you know, if you look a lot of times, penalty-killing on that side, if you've got a right-hander, and you can get it down the ice, it's pretty well 30 seconds before a team can get established.
05Now, that's a big deal. And again, even late in games, when we're on that far side, we haven't had that right-hander to step in. Tomer has been doing it the most of the time, but he's been a real good guy in face-offs. He's physical. He'll take anybody on for a teammate, and he plays hard. What do you usually tell guys when they're coming in to play their first game? Obviously, it's a pretty tough situation to jump onto a new team. What's your year message to guys like that? Just play your game. You know, we know why you're a guy. We usually run through a little bit of our system differs a little bit a lot of times from other teams, walk through some of the system stuff and special teams, but really just play your game. Most guys are really good at something, and you know how we're going to use you. Are you still expecting the other guys maybe in a few days,
05or is it, I guess, maybe you don't have any firm timeline? Yeah, one has arrived already. Stanley has arrived, but he can't join us yet. But he's in the city. Have the face offs bothered you this year? I know the percentages are pretty low. At times, when you could come in after a first period, and you're at 37% in your chase in the puck, it's a big deal, because if you had it at 60% of the time, or 70% of the time, the other team's chasing you, so we're giving up possession a lot of times. If you can get to 50%, you've got a pretty good face-off team. From 44 to 50 is a big deal. You know, big face-offs late in the game. Late in periods are real important, and that's where a key guy that can step in,
06whether now it can be carrot, and now we've got a Norris who's got the capability on that left side, and we also got a second option with Tom or on the right. Norris seems like he's getting a little better face-off. Did injuries hamper his face-offs? I think so. Paul, you know, he's always been a better face-off guy, and I think he's, you know, I don't think we're starting to see the real Norris. It's coming, and that should be an area that, again, late in games when he's got, when he's got it going, and he's good on draws, that's the guy you want out there. I understand what goes on. Do you have any idea, like, what's gone into this jump this season? Have you examined his stats and looked at, maybe, why, you know, has that big offensive jump? No. No, okay, I'm sorry. I'll be honest, I haven't examined it. I can be honest with you and telling that my former team mate,
10the guy coached with was a guy who spent a lot of time talking to yesterday, Scott or Neil. So, you know, went through the, you know, the players' game, and, you know, he went through it, he loves the guy, and, you know, we talked about, you know, where, what's his best suit, where can he continue to get better at? We went through a lot of stuff. Hey, one other thing I'm carrying. I got to name it. Is it possible going forward? It could be a guy. If you got in overtime, you could throw him out there just to win a base, so I'm gonna get a puck and have him jump off. For sure. I mean, we look at overtime as, who's our best guy to, you know, the other team's best player, let's say tonight was O'Reilly. Who's been the best against O'Reilly? Before that fit puck has dropped, a lot of times we're all, you know, whether it's McCloud, whether it's Norris, a lot of times, we will try to put the guy that's had the best success that night for that face off, and then, you know,
13could be a co-zack, could be a Krebs, could be anybody like that, that maybe is having success, and you win it and you come off. Spring is here, and the shopping list is long. Time to make a lows run. Buy three bags, get three free. Stay green, one cubic foot garden soy. Plus, right now, members can earn four times the points on an eligible purchase. Could this vintage store be any cuter? Right. And the best part? They accept a discover. Accept a discover? In a little place like this? I don't think so, Jennifer. Oh yeah, huh. Discover's accepted where I'd like to shop. Come on, baby. Get with the times. Right. So we shouldn't get the parachute pants? These are making a comeback. I think. Discover is accepted at 99% of places that take credit cards nationwide. Based on the February 2025 Nilsen report.
